This is my first day back painting since the illness and death of our darling dog, Marielle on June 6. It has been a very sad and devastating time. It's nice to be painting again.
Euphemia, I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss of Marielle. They have such a way of working their way into our hearts bringing smiles and laughter...then sadly, in the end...tears. I lost my little toy poodle Dolly, in Feb. 2010-yet her memory stays fresh. Hang on to the joy and happiness she brought into your life. Also, I found that it helps to paint like crazy for awhile.
